L'Arabinoxylan is a vegetable-based product, a non-starchy polysaccharide which is extracted from cereals and performs a protective role for the body.

This alimentary fibre passes first through the stomach and the small intestine without being digested, is partly broken down by intestinal bacteria, and is then absorbed by the large intestine. Other fibres that contain polysaccharides have a very high molecular weight and are therefore difficult to absorb. In contrast, NK-Life’s principal component is L' Arabinoxylan (corn bran hermicellulose), which in contrast to other fibres has a very low molecular weight and a marked cellular permeability, and so is easily absorbed into the blood in the intestine.

The presence of this fibre in the blood is anomalous for our immune system, so it considers it a foreign body and develops a defence against it for the duration of the time it is present. The immune system’s best defence is to increase the Natural Killer (NK) lymphocytes, which act against the principal types of virus pathogens and help to maintain the fight against chronic illnesses.

The second component found in NK-Life is lipidic acid, one of the most powerful antioxidants that can be used to cancel or limit the effects of oxidizing stress.
